In November of 2000, 21 year old Tiffany O'Hern fell down a laundry chute at Brown County Medical Health Center. Peggy O'Hern filed a lawsuit and received $1.5 million for the accidental death of her disabled daughter. Brown County insurance providers, Wisconsin Municipal Mutual Insurance Co. of Madison and OHIC Insurance Co. of Columbus, Ohio will be splitting the legal costs and settlement payment.
