Meet W. Harvey Skees
W. Harvey Skees possesses all of
these skills and applies them tirelessly for the needs of the client. W. Harvey
Skees graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1998. While
in attendance, he was granted a student practice license by the North Dakota
Supreme Court and represented individuals before he even graduated from law
school. In addition, he was granted a prestigious Federal Internship with the
Area Defense Counsel (Military version of the Public Defender's Office) in the
Office of the United States Judge Advocate General.
Following law school graduation, he sat for and passed bar examinations in two different states (Washington and Minnesota). Moreover, while preparing for the Minnesota Bar Exam, he was also serving as a full-time Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Peter A. Hoff in the 8th Judicial District of Minnesota which he was awarded in Dec. 1998.
In the time that has passed since his law school graduation and his judicial clerkship that followed, W. Harvey Skees has dedicated his life and career to the needs of those charged with alleged violations of Minnesota and Federal law and the repercussions that can stem from such alleged violations (i.e. loss of driver's license, forfeiture of motor vehicles and other personal property, loss of right to own and bear arms, etc.).
In short, he has dedicated his life to defense of individuals and the preservation of their constitutional and/or civil rights. In doing so, he has become the "DUI guy" in the State of Minnesota.
