Scott Stacey, Member of Trapp Law Firm

Scott Stacey is a Trial and Appellate Lawyer of the firm. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland, European Division while stationed in West Germany in 1989, with a major in Industrial Technology (emphasis on Industrial Hygiene/Safety). He received a Master of Science Degree from LaSalle University in 1999, graduating Cum Laude, with a major in Occupational Health and Safety. He also received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pre-Law, Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science from Columbia College in 2000, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. He attended Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, Illinois. While attending law school, he served as: the Environmental Law Society President for two years, Vice President of the Christian Legal Society, Democrat Law Society, and Law Library Committee; and member of Phi Alpha Delta. Scott received his Juris Doctor degree in 2006, graduating Cum Laude, and is licensed to practice before all state courts of Missouri and the U.S. Western District Court of Missouri.

Scott was in private practice before joining the Missouri Attorney General's Office in 2007, where he gained extensive experience and knowledge in various areas, including: Administrative Law, Professional Licensing, Health Law, MO HealthNet (Medicaid), Securities, Teacher De-certification, Juvenile Law, Missouri Ethics Commission, Nursing Board, Dental Board, Nursing Home Administrators, Real Estate Commission, Real Estate Appraisers, Insurance, Mental Health, Gaming Commission, Environmental, Secretary of State, Department of Revenue, civil actions, appellate courts, etc.
