My name is Scott Nathan and I am the managing partner of The Nathan Law Firm. My goal in starting The Nathan Law Firm was to be your home for affordable, accessible and expert legal services. I am dedicated to helping you find fast, cost-conscious solutions to your legal issues. In order to accomplish this I offer a low hourly rate and provide you with many cost-cutting options throughout the representation process. My legal background is extensive. I began my career in the area of real estate litigation, with an emphasis on resolving building code violations and transactional fraud issues. My practice later evolved to include real estate loan closings, foreclosures, evictions, bankruptcy, title claim resolution, and wrongful foreclosure representation. From December of 1999 through August of 2007 I operated a law firm that grew to represent various types of clients in more than 25,000 real estate transactions per year. Most recently my practice focused on providing title services, escrow and 1031 exchange services, document review, lease negotiation, resolving contract disputes, loan modifications and general business matters. Prior to beginning my career in law, I obtained an ABJ degree from University of Georgia in 1992 and earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1996. In my spare time I am an avid tennis player and a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, Paws Atlanta and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
