Tom's practice has been solely dedicated to employee-side employment law and litigation since 2004, with special expertise in ERISA plans and deferred compensation arrangements.
Consultative engagements are among Tom's favorite projects, and they play to his business experience and strategy skills.
Tom has board level experience negotiating with both Fortune and emerging technology companies, senior executive experience, and once acted as a contract negotiator for the Teamsters' Union. Tom has completed the Executive Leadership program at Harvard Graduate School of Business and several advanced programs in business theory and legal compliance. He served on the national Board of Governors of the Society for Human Resource Management for two years and as an adjunct professor of Employment Law and Corporations for three years.
Tom is an avid bicyclist and bicycle mechanic, often touring Bay Area roads.
