Brad Russell, Member of The Law Offices of Brad Russell, DUI, Criminal, and Family Law
Mr. Russell has lived in Hawaii for 15 years and is a graduate of the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii. He has extensive experience in the areas of criminal law and family law, having worked as a Deputy Public Defender and as an associate at Coates & Frey, the largest family law firm in Honolulu. He is a skilled trial attorney that has successfully represented clients in all types of criminal matters, including DUI, misdemeanor and felony cases. He has also handled numerous family law cases, including divorce, child custody, paternity, post-divorce, and post-paternity matters.
Having spent most of his career in Hawaii, Mr. Russell has developed good working relationships with local attorneys, judges, prosecutors, and court staff. He is also licensed to practice in Florida, where he worked in a firm that specialized in DUI defense.
His "down to earth" demeanor and common sense approach have proven effective in negotiating on behalf of his clients with opposing counsel and prosecutors. When negotiations fail, and a trial is needed to either resolve a legal dispute or clear his client of criminal charges, he fights hard, often achieving favorable results.
