Your Legal Compass for Employment, Discrimination, Non-Competes & Securities Litigation
After practicing for several years as partners at litigation, employment & securities boutiques located in Dallas, Texas, my husband, Randy, and I started The Foret Law Firm in 2009 with a specific mission: to provie guidance to small companies and executives with complex legal problems. The Foret Law Firm is well versed in providing evaluations to management level employees and risk prevention services to a number of small businesses in such diverse fields such as: energy, automotive, medical and securities. Indeed, we believe that we possess a diverse blend of qualifications and experiences that make us uniquely qualified to serve as “Your Legal Compass”. In particular, I am Board Certified in labor & employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization which allows me to quickly and efficiently advise clients on complex employment related matters such as:
• Wage & hour issues.
• Discrimination matters involving race, sex or age, ADA and FMLA issues.
• Whistleblower or Sarbanes-Oxley Act issues.
• Trade secrets and other intellectual property issues.
• Non-competition, non-solicitation, confidentiality and separation issues.
• Employment issues concerning FINRA regulated entities.
Randy (who is a former drilling fluids engineer) currently acts as general counsel for a small environmental start-up company. Combined with his 10 years experience handling securities-related litigation for a number of small energy and FINRA regulated businesses (including 2 major class-action lawsuits and numerous enforcement actions), Randy can quickly identify regulatory-related issues that can be detrimental to a company’s success.
Whether you are a manager level employee or a small business seeking legal guidance, we invite you to contact us to determine how we can be “Your Legal Compass”.
Sincerely,
Robin Foret
