Mike Becker

Mr. Michael F. Becker has over 33 years of trial experience. He is past President of the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys (CATA). His practice is primarily in the area of medical negligence and birth injury. Mr. Becker is a frequent lecturer on medical negligence and is a former chair of the Medical Negligence Section of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has authored articles on Medical Malpractice in state and national publications. Mr. Becker is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has been elected a fellow of the International Society of Barristers and is regularly selected by his peers to be included in The Best Lawyers in America, as well as Ohio Super Lawyers. Mr. Becker was inducted into the Inner Circle of Advocates which is a group of the top 100 personal injury lawyers in the country. Mr. Becker received the Craig Spangenberg Distinguished Advocate Award from the Ohio Association for Justice on May 14, 2009, which is given to one attorney per year. Mr. Becker also received the President's Award from the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys on June 19, 2009.

John Bulloch

John Bulloch joined The Becker Law Firm, L.P.A. in February of 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bulloch practiced law with Moscarino & Treu LLP for five years. Previously, he worked as an associate with the Cleveland Office of Arter & Hadden and as in-house counsel for the Cleveland Clinic Health System. His prior experience in health care law involved medical malpractice defense, pharmaceutical product liability, and the defense of doctors, nurses and pharmacists before administrative agencies and boards. John's prior experience in healthcare law has been successfully applied to the exclusive representation of victims of medical negligence and their families for the past 4 years.


Admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1991, John is also a Registered Pharmacist. This educational and occupational background uniquely qualifies him to provide comprehensive representation of patients in all aspects of medical negligence claims.  He has been rated "Preeminent" by his peers.


A life-long resident of Lorain County, John graduated at the top of his class and received his B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Toledo where he received numerous academic awards, including The Dean's Award. He graduated magna cum laude from The Case Western Reserve College of Law in 1991, where he also served on the law review and was a member of The Order of the Coif - the Academic honor society for law.

Patricia Cuthbertson

THE BECKER LAW FIRM welcomes Patricia Casey Cuthbertson to their team of highly recognized medical negligence trial attorneys. As a team member, Patricia's primary responsibility is to review and analyze the potential medical/surgical negligence claims as well as provide research support for cases in litigation.


Patricia graduated cum laude from Kent State University with a B.S in Nursing. She is licensed to practice nursing in Ohio. As a nurse, she worked at St. Mary's Hospital and Medical Center, Grand Junction, Colorado and University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland. Her nursing career included a specialization in the fields of Acute Care, Medical Surgical Adult Coronary Care, and Home Health Care for both Pediatric and Adult patients. Patricia worked as a nurse for ten years before attending law school.


Patricia graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law summa cum laude. She started her legal career as a defense attorney with Arter & Hadden in Cleveland for seven years followed by ten years with the firm of Moscarino & Treu in Cleveland, Ohio. As a defense attorney, she specialized in medical malpractice litigation including informed consent, misdiagnosis and medical negligence claims. Patricia is a member of the Ohio Bar Association.


Patricia is married with two children. She is actively involved as a youth minister for the high school aged group and serves as a youth music minister at St. Peter Catholic Church in Huron. Her musical talent is on the keyboard. Patricia volunteers at Edison High School in Milan, Ohio with a focus on the band and athletic teams. She has completed several 5K running races and enjoys cardio kickboxing as her workout of choice.

Holly Moore

Holly Moore joined The Becker Law Firm, L.P.A. in August of 2010. She received her Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Moore worked as a Registered Nurse for over14 years in both supervisory and clinical roles. Her areas of practice include Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Level II Special Care Nursery, Newborn Nursery, and Pediatrics. Ms. Moore also taught Maternal-Newborn clinical rotations as an adjunct faculty member for Lorain County Community College in the R.N./A.D.N. program.


Holly is certified in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing and holds a certificate of added qualification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring. This, in addition to her medical background, gives her a unique perspective in assisting in the representation of medical malpractice claims.

Pamela Pantages

Pamela Pantages has over 21 years experience as a trial attorney. She has a Masters degree in speech pathology and audiology, and successfully pursued a medical career before going to law school. Her current legal practice includes all areas of medical negligence but with a particular focus on obstetric and pediatric malpractice. Ms. Pantages is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. She has been an invited speaker on birth injury litigation -- both at the national level for the American Association for Justice and at the state level for the Ohio Association for Justice -- and has published on the topic as well. Ms. Pantages has represented babies and children in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware, Alabama and Georgia. She was selected by her peers as an Ohio Super Lawyer in 2009 and 2010.
