Terry K. Sherman was born on October 20, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio and has been an attorney for more than 37 years.

Admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 1971 and began his career as a law clerk for Judge William K. Thomas of the US District Court (Northern District of Ohio).

From 1972 to 1978, tried felony cases representing the state of Ohio as an assistant Franklin County prosecutor.

Since 1978, in private practice exclusively in criminal defense in state and federal courts throughout Ohio.

Member of the Columbus Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Central Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the American Bar Association.

Frequent lecturer for the Ohio State Bar Association.

Graduated from Ohio University in 1968 with a degree in Business Administration (major in economics and a minor in English).

Graduated from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1971 with honors (cum laude).
