I have had the pleasure of representing injured persons for over 23 years. The first year of my practice was spent representing insurance companies against persons who were injured. I quickly learned that was not where my heart nor capabilities should be. I tried to bring compassion to what is an area where the insurers' sole desire was to save money. So, I changed my practice to where I was best suited. That is, an area where I could represent my client with compassion but also put a hurting on the insurer where they hurt most, i.e., in their wallet.

I have also enjoyed working with my partner, Todd Elias. At first, he was a bit "wet behind the years" and needed to learn. However, he was a quick study and has developed into a premier lawyer that gets excellent results and maintains the level of compassion that is needed when representing families that have been devastated by an injury to a family member. Also, he is "nicer" than me. It is a perfect fit that works to the betterment of our clients' recovery. We have been described as "a chain saw and a fine belt sander";...I will let you figure out who is who!
