James Schleiffarth

Jim Schleiffarth practices in the areas of commercial and residential real estate law.  Jim is committed to helping small businesses and individuals meet their legal needs at a reasonable cost. Prior to practicing with the Schleiffarth Law Firm, Jim practiced with one of the most renowned law firms in St. Louis. A native of St. Louis, Jim is active in his community and belongs to several service and civic organizations.


Commercial Real Estate. Jim advises clients in all aspects of real estate transactions and disputes. He prepares leases, purchase agreements, easements, financing documents and other real estate-related contracts. Jim also advises clients with respect to various types of disputes and real estate litigation.


Residential Real Estate. Jim counsels individuals and real estate investors in many types of residential real estate transactions and disputes.  Jim guides residential investors through purchase, lease, finance and development transactions.   He also represents individuals in simple purchase or lease transactions for residential homes.


Real Estate Finance. Jim advises individuals and small businesses regardig a variety of financing matters.  Jim prepares financing documents in conjunction with real estate transactions, and also represents clients in disputes with banks and other financial institutions.


Litigation. Jim represents clients in various types of real estate litigation, including rent actions, evictions, title disputes and other matters.
