lya I. Press is a native of St. Petersburg, Russia and a long term resident of West Hartford, Connecticut with a solid educational and professional background. He studied around the world but more locally he studied Political Science and History at the University of Connecticut.  Attorney Press continued his education at the Quinnipiac University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate.  Attorney Press has clerked for Connecticut Legal services, New Britain Superior Court, and Prudential Home Realty. He championed consumer rights at The Giarniero Law Firm, LLC,he worked as a court clerk in Rockville Superior Court; he was a full time associate at the Law Office of John F. O'Brien in Rockville, Connecticut, where he worked on a number of criminal, housing,and civil matters; he was a temporary associate on a special project with Rome McGuigan, P.C.
