- Probation is an especially risky time for you. Probation officers are often poorly trained and overworked.
- Probation violations require a lesser burden of proof for the State, and simple mistakes or miscommunications can land you in prison.
- Take probation violation cases very seriously. But, just because a violation is filed does not mean all is lost.
- Get good advice before your PO calls you. (Always call your PO on your cell phone. That way, you always have a record of it on your bill.)
