Choosing a good attorney is perhaps the most important decision you can ever make. Such a decision is based more on trust than on any particular legal criteria. In this day and age professional representation and legal ethics have often given way to self serving claims and big advertising budgets. The simple truth is that often an attorney can make more money perpetuating problems than by solving them. As such, many matters which do not require expensive legal intervention are, nonetheless, marketed that way to make attorneys money at the expense of their own clients.
