David Lawrence Ravid, Member of Ravid and Associates, P.C.
Mr. Ravid is the founding partner of Ravid and Associates which was
established in 1990 with a practice emphasis in civil litigation. Mr.
Ravid did his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan,
majored in psychology / political science and was awarded a Bachelor of
Arts Degree With Distinction. His legal education began at the
University of Detroit School of Law where Mr. Ravid was a Law Review
Editor, frequent Moot Court competitor, was inducted into the Order of
Barristers and was awarded a Juris Doctor Degree. Mr. Ravid then was
awarded a Master of Law Degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law
School (a member of the Ivy League and a top national law program). Mr.
Ravid became a member of the State Bar of Michigan in 1981, is admitted
to practice before the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan
and also before the U.S. District Court, Western District of Michigan.
Mr. Ravid is appointed by attorneys around the state to serve as an
arbitrator and is a Case Evaluator for the
Wayne County Circuit Court and for the Macomb County Circuit Court. Over
the years of his service to his clients, Mr. Ravid has obtained for
them many multi-million dollar results as he pursued his practice of
toxic tort, complex liability, insurance, personal injury, and product
liability cases.
