Lawrence D. Church

Larry Church has been assisting individuals in Fairfield County, including individuals with disabilities, since 1977. A life-long resident of Norwalk, CT, he has served on the Norwalk Common Council, on the Norwalk Planning & Zoning Commission and on the Norwalk Redevelopment Agency. He has also served as a member of the Governor's Advisory Council on the Department of Mental Retardation (Now the Department of Developmental Services) for Region IV.

He is not certified as a specialist in any practice area, because his clients' needs have been varied. Estate Planning, private disability insurance issues, short- and long-term disability denials, Workers' Compensation, personal injury, housing discrimination, special education and consumer and small business bankruptcy are all areas where he has clients and practices regularly.

Charles Pirro has 40 years of experience aiding the disabled Claimant in obtaining Social Security Disability Benefits.

Rightly seen as a "Dean" of the Social Security Bar, he has lectured on Social Security before the National Association of Social Security Claimants' Representatives, the National Association of Disability Representatives and the Connecticut Bar Association. He has handled literally thousand's of Disability Appeals at the Administration level and has taken dozen's of appeals to the United States District Court.

A tireless fighter for his clients, Charles has even taken their appeals all the way to the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, and is often consulted by other lawyers about Federal Court practice in the area of Social Security Disability.
