Philip helped coordinate the prosecution for both the Winfield and Arkansas City County Attorney's offices. He has prosecution experience including juvenile, traffic, misdemeanor and felonies.

Assistant Public Defender, 1998 - 2003

Philip practiced in felony criminal representation of indigent persons for crimes ranging from thefts to sex offenses and murder. With over 70 criminal trials, Philip has the experience to defend any criminal case from traffic matters to the most serious cases.

Patrol Officer, 1976 - 1995

Philip has extensive law enforcement experience which gives him a unique perspective on defending criminal matters. His experience helps to determine whether the investigation and preparation of the criminal case was done properly, or whether there are faults which may lead to a dismissal of the case or other challenges affecting the outcome of the criminal charges.

Managing Attorney, 2003 - present

Philip has maintained a private practice since leaving the Public Defender's Office. Philip has defended over 70 criminal trials, and has assisted clients with bankruptcy protection for over 12 years. While attending Washburn University Law School, Philip assisted indigent persons in filing bankruptcy cases at the Law School's internship program.
