Proposed changes in the in United States immigration laws have amplified the need to hire a skilled Virginia immigration attorney. All too often non-citizens delay resolving immigration problems until their options are extremely limited.  I am interested in helping non-U.S. citizens quickly obtain the most stable immigration status possible.

As a retired diplomat with 35 years of experience with the U.S. Department of State, I have extensive experience working with people from throughout the world. With the assistance of my wife, I am able to handle United States immigration matters in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, and Afrikaans. I regularly provide advice and support to immigrants on matters.

I have been an immigration lawyer for six years and an attorney for thirty-four years. Prior to going into private practice handling immigration matters, I served 35 years as a diplomat assigned to U.S. Embassies in Africa, Southeast Asia, Australia, South America, the Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East.

I am a member of the California Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.  I graduated as a Jurus Doctor from Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkeley. In addition, I took specialized courses in immigration law at George Washington University in the District of Columbia.

My legal practice is concentrated on immigration through employment, family based immigration, and self sponsored immigration. My law firm is able to provide immigration services to clients in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, and Afrikaans
