Kelly A. Broadbent has been practicing law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 2004. She specializes in the areas of Traffic, Plaintiff Personal Injury (including motor vehicle and pedestrian accidents, premises liability, and products liability), Workers Compensation, Criminal Law (including OUI, Drug Charges, Assault and Battery), Family Law (including Divorce, Custody and Child Support Matters), and General Practice Litigation.
Attorney Broadbent is a lifelong resident of Grafton, Massachusetts. She attended the Grafton School System and graduated from Grafton High School in 1997. Attorney Broadbent continued her education at Boston University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Sociology. While at Boston University, Attorney Broadbent was a founding member of Theater for Engineers, an atypical theater group dedicated to bringing the performing arts to students with more rigourous class schedules. In addition, she performed regularly in Worcester, Massachusetts and Ogunquit, Maine with Booth Productions, a local theater troupe. Attorney Broadbent was employed at the Tsai Performance Center, where she worked with clients such as Julia Child, Warren Miller Films, and HBO to bring performing arts and culture to students at Boston University.
Attorney Broadbent attended Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, New Jersey, earning her law degree in 2004. At Rutgers, Attorney Broadbent was active in the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. She served as both Vice President of Entertainment and Treasurer during her time in Law School. Attorney Broadbent was employed during law school at the Law Office of John A. Klamo, P.C. as a law clerk, where she actively participated in all aspects of pretrial preparation.
Following law school, Attorney Broadbent practiced law in Cambridge, Massachusetts as a Litigation Associate. In that position, she focused on Personal Injury, Civil Litigation, Family Law (including Divorce, Child Support and Child Custody), Criminal Defense, and Traffic Defense.
Attorney Broadbent values her life experiences and uses them to her client's benefit when practicing law. Dedication, teamwork and persistence are some of the attributes she developed from her education and litigation experience.
Outside of practicing law, she is actively involved in the performing arts community for Worcester County.
