Shouldn't you have an advantage?

I'm Your Disability Attorney

If you are considering applying for Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or have already applied and have been denied, you should have an attorney who knows how to handle your application and appeal.

I assist claimants at every step of the Social Security disability application and administrative appeal. From filing your initial application to requesting an appeal hearing to filing a review appeal with the Appeals Council.

You should have the advantage of an experienced Social Security disability attorney and consistent representation from the first step. I do not charge an attorney fee unless you win, and there are no out-of-pocket costs. Although my office is in Troy, I handle cases throughout Southeast Michigan and often meet my clients in their own neighborhood.

My clients deal with me directly. Despite working in a firm with several attorneys in recent years where I had many other responsibilities, I have taken a great deal of pride in knowing that I have always been very involved with my clients' cases and have always done as much as I can as soon as I can. As a solo practitioner, my clients will be my only focus. I am Your Disability Attorney.

Stuart S. Johnson, P.C. dba Disability Attorneys of Michigan, (Warren, MI)

Managing Attorney, 2004 - 2009

I worked as a law clerk for six months before becoming the first attorney hired by Mr. Johnson. Four years later, there were seven attorneys. During my five years with Disability Attorneys of Michigan, I trained law clerks and attorneys, managed the legal writing department, was involved in the marketing and business strategizing of the firm and still managed a full caseload handling up to 250 hearings per year.
It was an invaluable experience that has served as the foundation for my own thriving practice.
