Tamara Droubi, Member of Mesriani and Associates, A Professional Law Corporation

Ms. Droubi received her undergraduate education at the University of California at San Diego, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in Biology in 1996.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Droubi lived in Japan for two years working as an English teacher for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program, and she traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia and Europe. Ms. Droubi also worked as a commercial litigation legal assistant for MCI, Inc. and the Washington, D.C. office of Bryan Cave LLP, where she assisted with complex litigation matters and pro bono civil rights cases filed in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia Court, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Ms. Droubi attended the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. As a law student, Ms. Droubi interned at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims for the Honorable Mary Ellen Coster Williams, and at the American Civil Liberties Union where she worked on the reauthorization of the Patriot Act. Ms. Droubi also interned at a plaintiff’s employment and labor law firm, assisting clients with claims before administrative agencies, state and federal courts in the District of Columbia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Concurrently, as a member of the Moot Court Association, Ms. Droubi represented her school at the National Telecommunications Moot Court Competition, and she received the Outstanding Appellant's Advocate Award in 2005 and the Dean's Award in 2006.

Ms. Droubi is an experienced litigator, assisting clients in obtaining favorable resolutions to 6 and 7 figure business/civil and personal injury matters through trials and arbitrations, extensive law and motion work, mediations and pre- and post- litigation settlement negotiations. Notably, Ms. Droubi has successfully prosecuted and defended writs of attachment and motions for summary judgment, and has appeared in both state and federal courts.

Ms. Droubi has also helped clients negotiate 6 and 7 figure sales contracts, assets transfers and dissolution agreements, file mechanic's liens and lis pendens to protect clients' rights, and form various business entities to meet clients’ needs.

Ms. Droubi is admitted to practice in all state courts of the State of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and is an active member of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Los Angeles County Bar Association and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
