Katherine S. Flom, Member of Meshbesher & Spence
Kate Flom has over twenty-five years of experience in the courtroom; the last twenty years she's exclusively represented individuals harmed because of another's carelessness or due to sexual harassment or abuse. A personal injury and wrongful death attorney, Ms. Flom is dedicated to helping people who find themselves in difficult situations and in need of her expert help.
She is currently Vice-President and a member of the Board of Directors at Meshbesher & Spence, where she handles a wide range of personal injury cases. She spent the first few years of her career as an Assistant Hennepin County Public Defender, representing people accused of crimes who had no money for a private attorney. In her work at Meshbesher & Spence, Ms. Flom represents people with muscle and ligament injuries, scarring, fractures, psychological trauma, and injuries causing paralysis or death. Her goal is to help people whose lives have been disrupted by their injuries, and obtain help for job loss, medical bills, disability and and other distress. Her case work covers a wide range—from car accidents to complex medical malpractice claims to victims of sexual abuse.
Ms. Flom has been recognized as a "Super Lawyer" by Law & Politics annually for the past ten years, and has been lauded by her peers as a leader in multiple professional associations. She has also been involved as a board member for Working Opportunities for Women and the American Lung Association of Hennepin County.
