Shereen Ahmed is a Partner at Madison Group, LLP, which she co-founded in Chicago, Illinois. She concentrates in Immigration Law and has recently expanded her Immigration Practice to the DC Metro Area. Miss Ahmed handles a variety of immigration matters, including Family and Employment Based Green Cards, Adjustments of Status, Employment Visas, Fiance/Spouse Visas and Citizenship/Naturalization. Her other areas of practice include Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Estate Planning, Collection Law, and Corporate Law. Miss Ahmed also serves as Legal Advisor for an investment management group in Chicago. Prior to her experience at Madison Group, LLP, Miss Ahmed gained valuable experience interning at DePaul University's International Human Rights Law Institute and spent two years as a legal assistant at a civil litigation firm. She worked for one year as the Victim-Witness Coordinator in the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Divisions at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. Miss Ahmed completed her J.D. degree at the John Marshall Law School and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2005. As an advocate of active involvement in the legal community, she is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Miss Ahmed graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Illinois and is fluent in Arabic.
