Nicholas Juhl, Member of Lovik & Juhl, PLLC
Nicholas W. Juhl received his Law Degree from Seattle University School of Law where he graduated with honors. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Economics from Washington State University. Since earning his law degree, Mr. Juhl has dedicated his practice to defending citizens charged with DUI and other criminal traffic offenses.
Mr. Juhl has successfully argued motions and tried cases to juries throughout both King County and Snohomish County, including the King County District and Superior Courts as well as the Municipal Courts for Seattle, Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Kent, Everett, Bothell, Edmonds, Lynnwood, and all surrounding communities.
In June of 2008, Mr. Juhl was one of only 94 criminal defense attorneys from around the United States chosen to attend the Trial Practice Institute at the National Criminal Defense College in Macon, Georgia. There, Mr. Juhl spent two full weeks fine tuning his trial skills under the guidance of some of the most respected criminal defense trial lawyers in the nation.
In addition to his time at NCDC, Mr. Juhl regularly attends continuing legal education seminars around the state of Washington in order to stay current with all changes in case law, legislative updates, and the most effective techniques to challenge evidence the state seeks to use against his clients.
Mr. Juhl is a member of the following associations: Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; Washington State Bar Association; King County Bar Association; and the Federal Bar Association for the Western District of Washington. He is licensed to practice in all Washington State superior, district, and municipal courts, as well as the federal court for the Western District of Washington.
A native of Whidbey Island, Washington, Mr. Juhl now resides with his wife in Seattle's Maple Leaf neighborhood.
