Bill possesses a wide-ranging knowledge of medical and liability issues and is among a small handful of Oregon maritime lawyers who defend claims under the Longshore Harbor Workers Compensation Act.

Bill also specializes in casualty litigation and employee claims, almost always involving illness and injury problems. He has spent the last three decades crafting skills in a broad range of casualty litigation and administrative law.

Before entering private practice, Bill headed the Drug and Vice Prosecution units of the Multnomah County (Portland) District Attorney’s office as a special prosecutor. He is a member of the Oregon and Washington state bars, the U.S. District Courts of Oregon and Washington, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Northwest Longshore Administrators Association, Oregon Association of Defense Counsel, and Multnomah Bar Association.
