You may have been told that DUI cases are unwinnable or that if your blood alcohol content was over .08%, that you are guilty, and you might as well just go in and plead guilty. We don't believe that and neither should you! If you took a breath test, even if the breathalyzer shows that your blood alcohol content was over .08%, we do not even consider accepting that as possibly accurate unless and until we investigate all possible alternatives, such as whether the breath testing machine was maintained and checked for accuracy according to the requirements of California law, which it often is not. We also do not accept any blood test results as accurate until an independent laboratory has separately analyzed your blood alcohol level and has checked the preservative level and checked for bacterial growth (which can produce inaccurately high results). This can be critical to your defense because the prosecution's lab does not test for the blood preservative level or for bacterial growth.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?
All of our lawyers have handled countless DUI and DWI matters. Unlike many lawyers who practice in numerous areas of law, we focus on DUI and DWI cases. Our lawyers know the scientific issues related to DUI's. We know the judges and we know the prosecutors.
What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others
Many criminal law firms are made up of lawyers who went to internet law schools and have never served worked in the government sector. This fact is critical. It is sometimes impossible to be a competent criminal law defense attorney without previously having been a Deputy District Attorney or Public Defender. These attorneys that have worked for the government have had the hands-on experience working in the courtroom for years, having handled thousands of cases.
The managing partner of our firm, Gary D. Labin, is a UCLA Law School graduate and is a former Deputy District Attorney. Any person who says that being a former Deputy District Attorney isn't important, wasn't one. Mr. Labin knows prosecutors, judges, and more importantly, is uniquely trained in the tactic they use try to convict defendants.
Two of our attorneys have served as Deputy Public Defenders. Each of our attorneys attended and American Bar Association accredited law school. We take tremendous pride in our experience and education and use every advantage to help our Clients obtain the best results possible.
What distinguishes your law firm from others?
Our firm does not have salespeople who a Client will never talk to again. When a Client calls, he or she is immediately connected to the attorney that will handle his or her case from start to finish. There is no "passing of the ball." This system leads to complete accountability by the attorneys towards our Clients. Our Clients get our personal cell phone numbers, lawyers pick up the phone when Clients call. JASON A. LIEBER
Jason was admitted to the California Bar in 2004, and is a former Trial Attorney of the Year in the Southwest Division of the Riverside County Public Defender's Office, primarily from his success in DUI/DWI trials. Jason recently won a DUI/DWI murder trial and also recently obtained a unanimous decision on a DUI-related matter in the California Supreme Court.

Stanley Lieber
In 2007, Stan secured immunity for Thomas Riccio, the star witness in O.J. Simpson Las Vegas robbery trial. Stan has handled over 500 trials and has settled thousands of others, both in state and federal court.
Stan is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is on their Qualified Expert Referral Panel.
