Barbie D. Lieber is head of the Firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditor & Debtor Rights and Collections practice and Commercial and Employment Litigation practice, and co-head of the Firm's Real Estate and Employment/Benefits practices. She began her career as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Cornelius J. Blackshear of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. She was previously associated with Tenzer Greenblatt LLP, Luskin Stern & Eisler and White & Case LLP. Ms. Lieber received her undergraduate degree from SUNY Stony Brook (B.S., 1984, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society) and her law degree from SUNY Buffalo, (J.D., 1987, with honors). Ms. Lieber is a member of National Association for Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
