I-601 waiver

Practice Area: Green Card

Description: A client needed an I-601 waiver in connection with her immigrant visa application in Germany because of a serious criminal conviction.

Outcome: We successfully filed and obtained a waiver for this client and she was able to be reunited with her husband in the U.S.

Cancellation of removal for LPR

Practice Area: Deportation

Description: A client was detained in Atlanta, GA because of repeated theft and controlled substance violations. We filed an application for cancellation of removal for her as an LPR in 2005.

Outcome: This client was granted cancellation of removal as an LPR, she was released and is now doing wonderfully.

237(a)(1)(H) waiver

Practice Area: Deportation

Description: A client had been placed in proceedings for having misrepresented the fact that she was married at the time of seeking admission in the US as an immigrant as the daughter of a US citizen. We filed a waiver for misrepresentation in Court.

Outcome: That waiver was granted and she was able to restore her legal permanent residence status.
