I have been engaged in the practice of law in Massachusetts since 1974 and in Vermont since 2003 with an emphasis on Personal Bankruptcy, Family Law, Real Estate and Probate Law. I have maintained an office in Salem, Massachusetts since 1975, one in Haverhill, Massachusetts since 1984 and one in Woodstock, Vermont since 2003. I am a former President of the Salem Bar Association, former Chairman of the Essex County Bar Association Family Law Council, and a former member of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Property Law Council. I currently lecture on family law and real estate matters for Lorman Education Services and am a guest lecturer at Boston University Graduate School's American Studies Program on issues relating to law and historic preservation.
