Nevada Workers' Compensation Law

Virginia L. Hunt is a Nevada attorney with over fifteen years’ experience in workers’ compensation law. She began in this practice area by working as an associate general counsel for the former SIIS, and was then appointed by the governor to serve as an administrative appeals officer, responsible for deciding contested workers’ compensation cases. Her firm represents only injured workers, and offers free seminars and educational materials on the law to those injured workers who do not need legal representation.

The firm represents a limited number of clients with serious work injuries that require greater individual attention of an experienced attorney. The emphasis is on obtaining quality medical care and on long-range planning, in addition to securing the full spectrum of benefits the law provides. The firm also litigates contested cases through the Nevada Supreme Court level of appeals.
