Karen Rhoades, Member of Rhoades, Cunningham & McFadden, PLLC
Education: Karen graduated magna cum laude from Elmira College with a B.A degree in 2001 and she graduated cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University with a Juris Doctor degree in 2004. At Albany Law School, Karen served as a member and associate editor of the Albany Law Review and competed in the Negotiation Competitions and was a member of the Albany Law School chapter of the American Inn of Court.
Experience: Karen was admitted to the Connecticut State Bar in 2004 and the New York State Bar in 2005. Karen was admitted to the United States District Court, Northern District of New York, in 2005. After graduating from Albany Law School, Karen focused her practice on represening clients who were going through marital and family difficulties, including divorce, separation agreements, maintenance, child support and child custody issues. In 2009 Karen continued representing those facing marital and family problems as the owner of the Law Offices of Karen A. Rhoades. During August of 2010, Karen founded the Latham law firm of Rhoades, Cunningham & McFadden, PLLC with Daniel Cunningham and John McFadden.
Associations: Karen is a member of the Albany County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Justinian Society.
Training: Karen completed the Fundamentals of Law Guardian Program and is now serving on the law guardian panel for the county of Saratoga. Karen is mediation trained and certified.
