Andrei Kublan, Member of Kublan & Austin PLC
Attorney Andrei Kublan is a principal of the firm. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law. During his time in law school, Mr. Kublan was an Executive Editor of the Richmond Journal of Global Law & Business and worked for the University of Richmond’s Children’s Law Center representing indigent parents of children with disabilities.
Mr. Kublan has been admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, in the District of Columbia, and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, the American Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Mr. Kublan previously practiced law with Hale Carlson Penn, PLC, where he primarily specialized in business law, estate planning, and domestic relations issues.
Presently Mr. Kublan concentrates his legal practice in the areas of immigration law, family law, business transactions, and general litigation. In his immigration practice, Mr. Kublan focuses on family and humanitarian based immigration matters before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services ("USCIS"), the U.S. immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, U.S. federal courts, and U.S. Embassies and Consulates overseas. Mr. Kublan has successfully represented clients in routine family based cases, as well as cases involving deportation and removal proceedings, waivers of inadmissibility, asylum, immigration consequences of criminal convictions, federal litigation matters and complex naturalization and adjustment of status cases.
