Dorinda Purvis, Member of Katz Law Group

Dorinda R. Purvis

Dorinda R. Purvis was born and raised in Southern California. She is a 1998 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and was a member of the Mortar Board, representing her achievement in academics and involvement on campus.

Ms. Purvis earned her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law and graduated cum laude in 2003. During her second year, she was a Teaching Assistant for a first year Contracts class. In her last year she was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Family Law for receiving the highest grade in the class.

Ms. Purvis was admitted to practice in the Maryland Court of Appeals in 2003, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in 2004 and the State Bar of Georgia in 2006. She is also a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.

Ms. Purvis enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and her dog. She also teaches Sunday school to two year olds in her spare time.
