Michael DiChiara, Member of Joseph, Herzfeld, Hester & Kirschenbaum, LLP
In 2007, attorney Michael DiChiara affiliated himself with Joseph, Herzfeld, Hester & Kirschenbaum on an "of counsel" basis. He specializes in wage and hour class action suits and boasts extensive experience litigating whistleblower, discrimination, and sexual harassment claims. In addition to serving as an Adjunct Professor of Employment Law at Rutgers Law School, Michael has done work for an array of other entities, including the Corporation Counsel of New York City, Grotta, Glassman & Hoffman (2004 to 2006) and Epstein, Becker, & Greene (2006 to 2007). He received his B.A. from The University of Notre Dame in 1993 and his J.D. from Boston College School of Law in 1997, where he was a Managing Editor of the BC Third World Law Journal and served on the Executive Board of the Public Interest Law Foundation.
Connor v. Pier Sixty. Michael was instrumental in helping to deny a catering facility's Motion to Dismiss, in a matter in which employees claimed that their tips had been withheld illegally.
