Mr. Jonathan K. Joyner was born and raised in San Antonio. He graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas with a B.A. in Business. Jonathan spent his summers as an undergraduate working as a summer intern for a prominent San Antonio attorney. During this time, Jonathan learned about the intricacies of being a criminal defense attorney and how to deliver quality legal services to his clients. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, Jonathan moved to East Lansing, Michigan where he attended Michigan State University College of Law. While in law school, Jonathan completed a clinic program at Michigan State where he had the opportunity to work on various legal cases and learned how to effectively represent his clients. After earning his Juris Doctor, Jonathan became a licensed attorney in the State of Texas in 2008. Anyone facing an allegation that they have violated a criminal law needs a strong and knowledgeable criminal defense attorney they can respect and trust. Money, jail time, and even someone’s life may be on the line and a criminal lawyer has to be trusted to fight hard for his client’s best interests.
