Lander McLoyd , Member of Johnson & McLoyd, PLC
A local resident, Lander McLoyd has represented the people of Washtenaw, Wayne, Jackson, Monroe, Livingston and Lenawee Counties for over thirty years. His extensive legal experience includes more than two decades serving as a bankruptcy attorney and consumer advocate with the UAW Legal Services Plan. Presently, he concentrates his practice in the following areas: bankruptcy, consumer law, estate planning, and probate law.
Lander earned his law degree (J.D.) from Wayne State University. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), the State Bar of Michigan, the Washtenaw County Bar Association and, The Vanzetti Hamilton Bar Association.
He is also a member of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan and the Estate Planning and Probate committee of the Washtenaw County Bar Association. In addition, Lander has completed the Probate and Estate Planning Certificate Program of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
Lander continually updates his experience with an extensive program of continuing legal education in order to better serve his clients. He and his firm are partners with the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
