Jeffrey M. Goldberg, founder of Jeffrey M. Goldberg Law Offices concentrates in substantial medical malpractice, product liability, aviation and related accidents, and has done so throughout his entire professional career. He has obtained numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements on behalf of injured individuals.
Mr. Goldberg received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University in 1970. He received his Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School in 1974. Thereafter, he was a law clerk for Justice Francis Lorenz of the Illinois Appellate Court and was an instructor at The John Marshall Law School.
Mr. Goldberg is on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA), The Public Justice Foundation, and the American Association for Justice's Birth Trauma Litigation Group. He was also Chairman of the Chicago Bar Association's Tort Litigation Section, a member of the Legal Specialization Committee and a member of the Judicial Candidate Evaluation Committee.
Mr. Goldberg has been a speaker at many seminars related to personal injury litigation, including having chaired and been a speaker at the Illinois Trial Lawyers Medical Malpractice Seminar, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association Product Liability Seminar and a speaker for various hospitals and medical groups. He was the prior co-editor of the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education's Medical Negligence handbook and has been a chapter author for over ten years.
Mr. Goldberg is admitted to practice law with the states of Illinois and Wisconsin. He also has been admitted pro hac vice in numerous states to allow representation of clients outside the State of Illinois.
