We are a Chicago area law firm with offices in Cook, DuPage, Lake and Will Counties and clients throughout the Chicago region.

We represent people with a variety of medical impairments including Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Migraines, Bipolar and other mental illness, Crohns, Rheumatoid Arthrtitis, Failed Back Surgeries, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and other medical problems,at all levels of the Social Security process.

Social Security Disability

Since 1981 Jeff Rabin has been representing people with disabilities seeking to get Social Security Disability benefits. This practice has grown into a leading law firm in the Chicago region working on behalf of people with medical disabilities.

Jeff Rabin has been representing persons needing Social Security Disability benefits since 1981. Jeff Rabin has served as a past Chairperson of the Chicago Bar Association Social Security Disability committee, was a founding member of the Social Security Disability Committee for the Americant Trial Lawyers' Association and has been a frequent speaker for the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR). Jeff is a sought after speaker and leads talks on this area of law to local community, health, government and advocacy based groups throughout the Chicago region.

Jeffrey Rabin

Jeff has been an attorney since 1980 and have been representing Social Security Claimants since 1981. He is a former Chairperson of the Chicago Bar Association Social Security Disability Committee, one of the founding members of the American Trial Lawyers Association Social Security Disability Committee and has lectured nationwide on Social Security law.

Jim Brown

Jim Brown has worked for more than 15 years as an attorney for Jeffrey A. Rabin & Associates, Ltd., a friendly and collegial law firm that concentrates in Social Security/SSI Disability cases. Jim's diverse and interesting legal career began in 1990 as a legal aid attorney for Will County Legal Assistance in Joliet, Illinois . He spent five years in Joliet representing low-income people in a wide range of legal matters--defending people who were being evicted from their homes, helping victims of domestic violence to obtain orders of protection, and helping people obtain needed government benefits such as food stamps, SSI, and unemployment compensation. Jim's legal aid career included a 2 year stint as an attorney for Utah Legal Services in Salt Lake City , where he focused in SSI and public benefits cases. His legal aid career culminated in a 5 year stint as the Director of Legal Services for CARPLS (an innovative legal aid program specializing in advice, referrals, and brief services) in Chicago.

Jonathan Pearson

JONATHON PEARSON graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in psychology. He then attended law school at New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. During law school he focused on advocacy and his desire to help those in need. Jonathan interned for the Committee for Public Counsel Services where he researched and wrote memoranda for the Public Defender Division. He also volunteered at the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee- Guardian ad Litem Division, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

David Kingsbury

DAVID KINGSBURY was attracted to the area of Social Security Disability law because it provides an opportunity for an aggressive and skilled young attorney to change the lives of the people he represents. At Jeffrey A. Rabin & Associates, David directly meets with clients and substantively advocatse for clients in a way that produces very tangible benefits to the client. Allyson St. John

ALLYSON ST. JOHN received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and went on to attend law school at Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan. While attending law school Allyson practiced as a student attorney, and later, a member of the Board of Directors, at the Free Legal Aid Clinic, Inc., in Detroit. There she represented low income clients in a number of cases relating to family and elder law, including divorce, obtaining personal protection orders for victims of domestic violence, obtaining and enforcing child support orders and assisting elderly clients reach out to and obtain services for various community services.
