Jason J. Sawyer Esq.

Mr. Sawyer practiced as an associate at Bradley and Riley, P.C. in Cedar Rapids, Iowa from 1999 until 2001. From 2001 until 2002 he practiced law as a sole practitioner focusing primarily on criminal, juvenile, and indigent defense in Iowa City, Iowa. Mr. Sawyer is admitted in all Vermont State courts, the United States District Court for the District of Vermont, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the Supreme Court of the State of Iowa, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa.

Mr. Sawyer received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Grinnell College in 1995 and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1999, graduating with distinction. He interned for then Shadow Foreign Minister, Ann Clwyd, M.P., in the House of Commons, London, England in 1994. Mr. Sawyer currently serves as the Secretary for the Vermont Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, is a member of the National College for DUI Defense, the Vermont Trial Lawyers Association, the Vermont Bar Association, and the Iowa State Bar Association. Mr. Sawyer is a member of the CJA panel for the U.S District Court for the District of Vermont
