College Teaching:
Jim Jurinski has also taught business courses to both undergraduates
and MBA students at a number of colleges over the last twenty years
including the University of Portland, Washington State
University-Vancouver, and Portland State University.
He is currently on the faculty at the Dr. Robert J. Pamplin
Jr. School of Business Administration at the University of Portland
where he teaches courses in Family Business Planning and Tax Planning.
He is co-author of the book, Transferring Interests in the
Closely-Held Family Business, published by the American Law
Institute-American Bar Association, as well as a dozen other books and
over two dozen articles in national journals and magazines on business,
tax, and estate planning topics. He also writes a column "All In The
Family" for the Journal of Real Estate Taxation.
He is on the roster of mediators and arbitrators of the
Academy of Conflict Resolution, and on the National Association of
Securities Dealers' panel of arbitrators and has developed course
material on mediation and arbitration for the American Management
Association that are used nation-wide.
