Steven Bachmann Dietz, Member of HoganWillig Attorneys at Law

Prior to becoming an attorney, Steven Bachmann Dietz was a paralegal for Rappaport, Glass, Greene and Levine, LLP (then known as Gandin, Schotsky and Rappaport). It was at this personal injury law firm on Long Island that he discovered his passion for legal writing and research and decided to pursue a law degree. He then attended University at Buffalo School of Law, where he was Publications Editor of the Buffalo Law Review and interned with the State Assembly member Sam Hoyt.

Since admission to the New York State Bar, Mr. Dietz has focused his practice in personal injury and commercial litigation. He assists the firm's Litigation Department with legal research, drafting of pleadings, interrogatories, briefs and memoranda of law and appellate practice. Mr. Dietz works closely with attorney Steven M. Cohen, Chair of HoganWillig's Litigation Department, on civil rights and constitutional law cases, including several high profile cases such as United States v. Robert Rhodes; which secured the acquittal of a U.S. Homeland Security Officer wrongly accused of using excessive force against a Chinese National.
