Karen Danahy, Member of HoganWillig Attorneys at Law

Ms. Danahy focuses her practice in corporate and business law, assisting with business formations (sole proprietorship, partnership, corporations, and limited liability companies), acquisitions, sales or dissolutions, as well as the preparation of any commercial document/contract, ranging from an employment agreement to a lease.

 

Ms. Danahy gained corporate and business experience prior to attending law school as a Women's Business Enterprise owner specializing in the sale of construction materials for commercial and residential use, obtaining architectural specifications for projects.

While attending law school, Ms. Danahy was Publications Editor of the Buffalo Law Review and her law review article was selected for publication in the Spring of 2000: Cercla Retroactive Liability in the Aftermath of Eastern Enterprises v. Apfel, 48 Buffalo L. Rev. 509 (2000). Also while in law school, Ms. Danahy held an externship position with the City of Buffalo Corporation Counsel. She also conducted pro bono work with the Volunteer Lawyers Project, Inc.

Prior to joining HoganWillig, Ms. Danahy practiced general litigation and environmental law at Phillips Lytle, LLP before relocating out of the Western New York area.
