During law school, Theresa competed in the American Association of Justice trial competition and placed 4th in Region 4 of the National Trial Competition. She won first place in the 1L Trial Advocacy Competition at California Western School of Law and was twice named a Distinguished Advocate. In addition, Theresa was selected as a Litigation Fellow of the Steven L. Snyder Center for Litigation Skills at the University of Baltimore School of Law. During her last year of law school, Theresa worked as a full time law clerk in the General Felony Division of the Baltimore City States Attorneys Office.
Robert has a particularly active trial practice. Other attorneys frequently ask him to become involved in complex and high-stakes cases when trial approaches. Clients who he represents always obtain maximum value for their cases because of his ability and willingness to effectively try cases to verdict. He has obtained multiple favorable verdicts and settlements, including multiple recoveries in excess of one million dollars.
Robert has particular expertise in cases involving catastrophic orthopedic, spinal, brain and other injuries. He also has an active trial practice involving insurance bad faith and other wrongful insurance practices. Robert also represents victims of sexual harassment and other employment misconduct.
The Consumer Attorneys of San Diego have named Robert the 2008 Trial Lawyer of the Year. That is the highest award a San Diego trial lawyer can receive. Robert received the award for his work in 2008, including 5 highly successful jury trial verdicts and several settlements in excess of one million dollars.
When not in trial, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 sons and staying physically active.
After spending years on the defense, Laura is extremely grateful for the opportunity to now help those who have been injured and wronged. She strives for excellence, fighting for the rights of her clients.
Laura earned her Juris Doctorate from Western State University College of Law in Irvine, California. She knew she wanted to be a trial attorney after working as a law clerk in the Orange County District Attorneys Office. She has handled numerous trials, arbitrations and mediations.
Laura enjoys running, cycling, triathlons, and spending time with her husband, family, friends and dog. She has competed in over 20 marathons, 3 Ironman triathlons, and road and criterium races.
Throughout his career, Jeremiah has managed to resolve countless complex cases with favorable results for his clients. He works closely with his clients to understand not only the facts of their case but understand their needs so as to help them get through their difficult times. He also understands the importance of giving clients the necessary personal attention that they deserve.
When Jeremiah is not working, he spends much of his time outdoors. He is active in several sports, including snowboarding, wakeboarding, volleyball, and softball, and enjoys exploring all that San Diego has to offer. He also commits his time to helping those less fortunate, volunteering with the Legal Aid of San Diego, including assistance with their mediation program for juveniles in rehabilitation facilities as well as providing assistance to individuals who were devastated by the San Diego wildfires in 2007. He believes that it is important to give back to the San Diego community.
