Frank M. Mungo, Member of Frank M. Mungo, Esq.

I am a criminal defense lawyer because I want to help people. I know that selecting a lawyer is a very sobering, stressful decision – your very freedom is at stake. I use my skills to help those who find themselves in their greatest time of need. My approach to defending criminal cases is successful because of my unique combination of talents, which come from my experience as a former prosecutor, my education in physics and engineering, and my mastery of the art of persuasion.

FORMER FELONY PROSECUTOR

I have unique insight into the methods used by the police because I was a felony prosecutor in Kentucky. I prosecuted many serious felony criminal cases – including murders, rapes, and robberies. Because of my experience, I know where the police and the prosecution make most of their mistakes, and I use this knowledge to my client’s advantage.

TRIAL LAWYER AND TRAINED SCIENTIST

My educational background is unique because I am both a lawyer and a scientist. My formal training in science and law gives me a distinct advantage in defending criminal cases. That is, my knowledge of physics and engineering, combined with my skills as a lawyer, allows me to use the power of science to strengthen your defense.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Specifically, my education consists of earning a law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, a Bachelors of Science degree in physics from Presbyterian College, a Masters of Science degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University, and a Masters of Science degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

BENEFITS OF LAW AND SCIENCE

My scientific and legal backgrounds allow me to work comfortably and professionally with many forms of complex, scientific evidence, including DNA, ballistics, toxicology, fingerprints, accident reconstruction, and blood spatter analysis.

MASTER OF COURTROOM PERSUASION

Lastly, I realized that to win, I had to master the art of courtroom persuasion. It is not enough just to investigate and prepare a case for trial. To win, the defendant’s case, his story, must be told both passionately and persuasively to the jury. I have studied for years the skills that most effectively persuade a jury. To succeed, the defense must win both the hearts and minds of the jury. If done properly, during the deliberations, members of the jury will argue the facts that support your case — they will fight for your freedom.

Because I care about people, because I have a passion for justice, and because I believe that the ultimate wrong is for an innocent person to spend even one day in jail, I promise that I will use every skill that I possess to help you fight for your freedom.
