Fortenberry Law Group is a boutique law firm with offices in Gulfport, Mississippi, and Mobile, Alabama. Our goal is to provide quality, specialized representation in the area of probate, trusts and estates, taxation, and nonprofit law. Jeramie Fortenberry holds a Master of Laws Degree in Taxation (LL.M.) and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. We serve clients across the United States, affiliating local counsel where necessary to ensure efficient and effective representation.

Our Management
Our managing attorney, Jeramie J. Fortenberry, holds a Master of Laws Degree in Taxation (LL.M.) from New York University and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. He has been published in the Mississippi Business Journal and by the Mississippi Bar Association and American Bar Association, has served in various capacities with the Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Division of the American Bar Association, and has served as an instructor in Continuing Legal Education Seminars and at the undergraduate level. In 2009, he was appointed by Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann to serve on the Trust Laws Study Group of the 2009 Business Reform Study Group, where he served on a committee to study Asset Protection Trusts and author proposed legislation for a domestic asset protection trust statute (Mississippi Qualified Disposition Act).
