J. Jamie Fisher, Esq., Member of Fisher & Talwar
Jamie Fisher is an experienced litigator with extensive experience representing
real estate and business owners in eminent domain and inverse condemnation
matters. Additionally, Mr. Fisher has successfully litigated a wide range of
real estate related matters including construction defect, buyer/seller
disputes, ADA compliance, CEQA, landlord/tenant and unlawful detainer. He has
also represented clients in real estate and business transactions.
Prior
to forming Fisher & Talwar, Mr. Fisher was with a boutique eminent domain
law firm, where he played an integral role in obtaining tens of millions of
dollars in settlements and jury verdicts. Mr. Fisher has litigated eminent
domain and/or inverse condemnation matters against various government agencies
throughout Southern California including the Los Angeles Unified School District
(LAUSD), California Department of Transportation (CALTRANS), Alameda Corridor
Transportation Authority (ACTA), Alameda Corridor-East Construction Authority
(ACE), and numerous cities, counties, redevelopment agencies and other school
districts.
Mr. Fisher is a member of the Los Angeles
County Bar Association's Real Property and Litigation Sections. He obtained his
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara
and a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law.
Mr. Fisher is licensed to practice in all state courts in California and the United States District Court, Central District of California and is a licensed real estate broker.
