Jerry Douglas (Doug) Fields, Jr. is the principal owner of Fields Law Firm/Fields.McAtee.Lorant,LLC  based in Birmingham with satellite offices in Tuscaloosa and Columbus, Georgia.  He practices throughout Alabama, in State and Federal Courts, litigating on behalf of injury victims in motor vehicle accidents, of faulty products or premises, of medical and pharmaceutical negligence, as well as in the areas of workers’ compensation, employment litigation and Social Security Disability.  He has lectured to various business and professional groups on topics related to his areas of practice.  He is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association, Alabama State Bar and The American Association for Justice and Alabama Association for Justice.  Mr. Fields received his B.A. degree from the University of Florida in 1985 and J.D. from Cumberland School of Law of Samford University in 1989.
