Don Freeman, Member of Eubanks, Barrett, Fasig & Brooks

Don was born and raised in the Chicago area but moved to Florida in 1996. He earned his undergraduate degree at Florida International University and graduated cum laude from the Florida State University College of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review and Moot Court Team. While in law school, Don won Best Oral Advocate and Best Written Brief at the 2003 Florida Workers’ Compensation Moot Court Competition and a number of other awards for outstanding writing. After law school, Don spent several years as an Assistant Public Defender in Tallahassee and as Assistant General Counsel for the Florida Department of Health, where he prosecuted doctors accused of medical malpractice and professional misconduct. Since leaving the Department of Health, Don has been litigating civil matters in state and federal court exclusively. He is an associate attorney with the firm whose practice is focused primarily in the area of medical malpractice.
