To date, Michael Doan has filed over 5000 consumer bankruptcy cases in addition to hundreds of separate lawsuits inside those cases. He has also published in both the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel.

Since being admitted to the bar in 2006, Ms. Lamar has focused her career exclusively in bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Prior to joining Doan Law Firm LLP, Ms. Lamar was an associate in a New York based firm in the Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization department. Her practice focused on insolvency and corporate restructuring, distressed financings, business counseling, contract negotiations, commercial litigation, and debtor and committee representations in complex Chapter 11 cases. Mr. Chawla attended the University of California , San Diego (UCSD), where he earned Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. After graduating from UCSD, Mr. Chawla worked as the Vice President of Operations for an internet start up company in Carlsbad , California . Mr. Chawla went on to attend Thomas Jefferson School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate in 2005, with focus on intellectual property. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Mr. Chawla initially worked in a small family law firm which focused on a collaborative approach to dissolutions.
