Ethan D.
Ethan D. Epley grew up on his parents’ crop and livestock farm between Shell Rock and Waverly Iowa. He is a 1998 graduate of Waverly-Shell Rock High School. Currently Ethan resides with his family in Waverly and is still actively involved in the family’s farming business. Legal Training: Mr. Epley attended Drake University Law School in Des Moines Iowa. While in law school he was elected Vice President of the Drake Agricultural Law Association and held a position as a research editor for the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law. During law school he worked at the Beginning Farmer’s Center located in Urbandale, Iowa where he worked on farm succession planning. Ethan graduated with honors from Drake University Law School in 2009 and was awarded a certificate in Food and Agricultural Law.
